What data is collected

The contact form on this site sends no data to any server: it composes a message and opens it in the visitor's own email program. It is the visitor who decides whether to send it. Consequently, the data typed into the form is not stored on this website.

When you send that email, the details you have included — name, telephone number, reason for the consultation and your message — are received in the practice's inbox and used solely to reply to you and, where applicable, to arrange your appointment.

Medical information

We recommend that you do not send sensitive medical information by email or through web forms. Email is not an end-to-end encrypted channel and is not a suitable medium for sharing medical records, test results or medical images.

All clinical information you share during an in-person consultation is covered by medical professional confidentiality.

Appointment system

The appointment booking page may embed a system provided by a third party. In that case, the data you enter into that system is governed by the privacy policy of the corresponding provider, which will be indicated on that same page.

Maps and third-party content

The contact page embeds a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and browser data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

The home page and the «About me» page display reviews published by patients on Google. The block is served by portal.nayitapubmark.com, which belongs to the agency that manages this site, and when it loads your browser connects to that domain, which may receive your IP address and browser data. The profile pictures of the reviewers are also served from there, so your browser does not need to connect to Google to display them. Reviews are shown exactly as their authors published them: they are neither edited nor filtered from this site.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. No analytics tool is currently in use.

The administration portal for this site uses a single technical cookie, needed to keep the session of whoever administers it. It is not set for visitors.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data you have provided to us at any time, by writing to oculoplastic@hotmail.com.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in how the site works. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
